Chosun Engineering University Wins Grand Prize in National Cooking Contest

Students from the Hotel Cooking Patissi department at Chosun University of Technology recently won the grand prize at a nationwide cooking competition.

Chosun University of Technology (Yoon Doo-soo, acting president) announced on the 12th that it won the grand prize (Jeonnam Governor’s Award) in the group live section of the 19th Seoul International Food and Tableware Fair held at the aT Center’s first exhibition hall.

The “Seoul International Food and Tableware Fair” is a large-scale event in the food culture and tableware industry hosted by the World Food Culture Research Institute and the Korea Food Coordinator Association.

It provides a venue for exchanges to promote the latest food trends through contests and exhibitions involving experts as well as college students and high school students across the country.

Kim Bum-chul, a team leader (second year of the Department of Food and Nutrition and Cooking), said, “I’m so grateful to the team members who participated in the competition and did their best until the end, and I’m grateful to the professor who always supported me.”
